Hiring A Community Manager

COWO community workspace is looking for an experienced community manager to work closely with our online and offline communities, to develop and grow them. The ideal candidate should be a “people person” with great customer service skills. He/she must love working with big teams and freelancers, organize internal and external events, have basic marketing skills and be super energetic and enthusiastic. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow internal and external communities of teams and freelancers.

  • Organize events and community growth activities.

  • Follow-up the community social media pages and website and design or boost existing marketing strategies.

  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, industry professionals and journalists.

  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews.

  • Respond to comments and community queries in a timely manner.

Required experience and skills

  • Proven work experience as a community manager.

  • Education in the fields of marketing, PR, journalism, sociology or in a related field.

  • Excellent knowledge of Armenian and English, good knowledge of Russian.

  • Strong communication skills

  • Content development skills (writing, editing)

  • Promotional and public relations skills

  • Photography skills

  • Event management skills

  • Customer service skills

  • Multitasking, planning and prioritizing skills
